After six months of training, mentoring in charge of volunteer collaborators and strengthening networks, Banco de Chile closed on Tuesday the first version of the Women's program that inspire 2021 with an emotional live meeting where the documentary women who inspire, which gather the gathering theStories of 35 women entrepreneurs and social leaders from different regions of the country, which were the winners of this year.Also, the entity announced a new call for this program for 2022.
Projects linked to environmental care, initiatives related to the inclusion of people with disabilities, or neighborhood groups that emerged as a solidarity and collaborative response to the health emergency.These are some of the initiatives of these 35 women leaders of social organizations, microentrepreneurs or entrepreneurs who were distinguished by Banco de Chile with the recognition women who inspire, driven by the entity to highlight women who positively impact the community on the community.
The awards ceremony was held last night at the CentralParque Event Center, under all safety, sanitary and established capacity measures.The activity was headed by the general manager of Banco de Chile, Eduardo Ebensperger, and was animated by television host Ángeles Araya.
The Women who inspire program convened women from 10 communes of the country - Arica, AntofagastResponse to the health emergency have become the backbone of their communities.
After an evaluation and selection process, each of these women who inspire was awarded $ 3.000.000 (three million pesos), in addition to mentoring and personalized accompaniment, and specialized training in issues such as techniques to grow your business, how to digitize your business and strengthening your organization.

The general manager of Banco de Chile, Eduardo Ebensperger, stressed that “the commitment to Chile, entrepreneurship and inclusion are strategic pillars that our institution permanently supports.Under that eaves, with this recognition we wanted to highlight this group of inspiring women, who have left and are leaving a mark on their community, giving them support in a concrete way to continue promoting their different initiatives ”.
He added that "in order to continue contributing to the country, we announce a new call for the women's women who inspire, which will be held in March 2022 and to which we already invite all women entrepreneurs and social leaders to participate".
Of the 35 winning women of this year, 20 correspond to social organizations, such as foundations, cultural groups, common pots and solidarity dining rooms;and 15 are microentrepreneurs or with ventures linked to recycling, sustainability and work with people with disabilities.
The initiatives of the 35 women leaders of social and entrepreneurial organizations who received this recognition, from a total of more than 100 who applied and sent their background, were evaluated and selected by a jury composed of Eduardo Ebensperger, general manager;Cristián Lagos, manager of the People and Organization Division, and María Victoria Martabit, Manager of Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Development, all of Banco de Chile;and Rocío Fonseca, Corfo Innovation Manager.
