A Mexican boy decided to give away the toys in good condition that he had saved for Christmas to those who did not have the fortune to receive any of those that Santa Claus delivers (Saint Nicholas, Santa Claus or, simply, Santa) on these dates.

"It's not the first time he's done it," the aunt of Diego Calderón, the generous 6-year-old boy from Tampico, Mexico, told Uniivision News.

"In mid-2020 he did the same thing after a cleanup he did in the closet of his house, where he decided to get rid of several toys in the same way: giving them to other children who wanted them," said Denisse Domínguez.

"Now at Christmas it happened in a similar way," said Dominguez, who helped the story go viral after exposing his nephew's action in a post on his Facebook account on Dec. 29.

“ Diego decided to take many of his toys out of it until he filled a very large boat,” Domínguez said. "Then his mom asked him what he wanted to do with them and he said he wanted to give it to the kids who didn't get presents for Christmas."

That day, the little boy then put his toys on a table that his mother placed in the garage of his house with a sign that read: "Take one they are free."

“ Diego began to give toys to the children who came to his house with the only condition that it be one toy per child,” explained Domínguez.

The reaction of the people has excited the Mexican boy, assures his aunt, and now look among his belongings for something that can be used to continue giving to others . "Diego has begun to classify his clothes to see what he can give away," says Rodríguez.

The young man's aunt expresses that Diego's initiative to help is not something new or surprising in the family, since the minor has always been characterized by looking out for others.

“ He is a very noble and accommodating boy , he likes to help in whatever it is, if you are sweeping or fixing the house, in the supermarket, at no time did it surprise us that he had the idea of giving his toys away”, she expressed.
