Childhood growing up on the streets
El Caracol AC delivers toys on January 6 to street children. During December they were asked to write their letters so that the supportive people who accompany the organization buy the toys they ask for. The Caracol can be supported with economic donations or with a donation of king threads, piñatas, sweets or genderless toys, such as balls for children who come to their celebration and have not previously made a letter. They can take their donations to their offices at Rafael Heliodoro Valle 337, Lorenzo Boturini, Venustiano Carranza. Donations will be received until this Wednesday, January 5, from 10AM to 7PM.

Another option to donate is the Punks Reyes Magos. This initiative of José Luis Escobar, known as El Pikos, has been carried out since 1990. It consists of bringing toys, clothes, piñatas and groceries to street populations. They also accept transportation support to take the donations to the delivery points. They have four collection centers that you can review in the following flyer. Donations will be received until January 5.
Childhood in transit
For those who want to support children in transit through Mexico, they can go to the Cafemin shelter. Here they will be receiving toys until January 5th. Sister Sol, in charge of the shelter, explains that on the 5th they tell the children to leave their shoes in a certain place, they leave their toys there and on January 6th they break a piñata.

families of sex workers
Like every year Brigada Callejera gathers toys for the families of sex workers. This year the economic crisis has hit a lot, says Elvira Madrigal, so distributing groceries and toys is becoming more necessary every day, she explains. These will be distributed on January 6 on Corregidora Street, in the Historic Center. The toys are received at the Brigade offices: Corregidora 115, Centro, Venustiano Carranza starting at eleven in the morning.

Tlacoapa is a community in the chinampera area of Xochimilco, it is a popular settlement next to the canals through which the trajineras pass. Approximately 150 families live, with between 3 and 5 children per family. Claudia Witting collects financial donations to buy toys for these children. Another group that goes to places of difficult access is Los Reyes sobre Ruedas, who will take the donations to the Taxhimay Dam in the State of Mexico. They ask for donations of toys, clothes, groceries and bonuses. For the bikers or jeepers, they can accompany them to deliver the donations on January 9. The appointment is at nine in the morning at the Tepotzotlán booth. People who cannot attend the delivery round can take the donations to Insane 4 × 4, at Calzada de Tlalpan 2548, in Mexico City.
For whom femicide violence took away their mother
The Ni Una Menos Collective will also distribute toys for orphans and orphans of victims of femicide. This week they will receive the donations in the Narvarte neighborhood and they will deliver the gifts on Wednesday, December 4 at 4 in the afternoon. The organization counts more than 400 minors who have lost their mother due to femicide or disappearance.
