A modern apartment in Murcia surrendered to curved lines

We are in Murcia, in a 130 square meter apartment for a couple with a daughter that has been renovated to improve the distribution and reopen the terrace, which the previous owners closed. The house, built in the 1980s, had an excessively hierarchical distribution of spaces, long corridors in an 'L' shape and intricate paths where, moreover, natural light did not reach most of the spaces. The architect Laura Ortín (lauraortin.com) is in charge of transforming the house by applying curved lines to walls and furniture. As she herself says, "well thought out and worked organic forms allow us to get closer to what is natural, organic and spontaneous movements that at the same time create more emotionally vibrant and special sensations".

We begin the tour of this unique home in the kitchen, located next to the entrance. The clients wanted it to be open to the living room but with a certain spatial independence.
