With the aim of encouraging reuse and recycling, Fitux Chile seeks to collect clothing and sports equipment that you have at home. Under the slogan #TuAporteEsDeporte, we present ourselves as a solution regarding the replacement that many sports lovers carry out, in order to practice their activities in a better way.
During this weekend, Fitux Chile will have a stand receiving donations from attendees who participate in the finals of the ARUSA Tournament. On Saturday the 11th they will be at the Country Club courts, while on Sunday the 12th they will be at the Old Boys courts in Chicureo.
Fitux Chile is a social organization that loves sports, which seeks to collect unused clothing and sports items that people have at home, whether new or used. Thanks to these donations, resources are generated that support free sports projects for boys and girls.
The textile industry has been positioning itself as the second most polluting industry on the planet, according to UN data in 2019. Generally, only 1% of all garments can be reused, which is why at Fitux we want to change that percentage .
In two years of operation, we have managed to reuse 2,721 garments, which translates into support for Fundación Ganbaru projects, which today have 2 free athletics schools, in Paine and Pudahuel, benefiting nearly 80 boys and girls .
